Our managing partner Vincent Weve has presented a 30 minute paper at the annual OSJ Middle East conference held in Dubai.
The event took place on 28/29th November and brought together regional and international players in the offshore support vessel (OSV) sector such as Adnoc Logistics, P&O Maritime and Abu Dhabi Ports. It provides a unique platform to identify new opportunities, tackle challenges and knowledge.
Vincent successfully addressed the regional aspects of cold and warm lay up and stacking of OSVs and barges and took place in a panel with fellow industry experts.
According to market analysts, despite plenty of challenges, the Middle East remains a ‘warm bed’ of OSV activity for ongoing projects, with investment from national oil companies providing new opportunities for the offshore support vessel sector.
The 2021 agenda had a further focus on the key opportunities in the Middle East and Africa regions for future vessel utilisation. Other industry experts shared their views and experiences on market consolidation, financing requirements, technology innovations driving vessel optimisation, green fuels forand what the near and short term holds for vessel owners and operators.
